WEBSITE MAINTENANCE PLANS

Website Maintenance Plans for Contractors and Home Service Businesses

ASJ Designs maintains home service websites for $99 a month, which covers platform updates, daily backups, security and uptime monitoring, and up to one hour of change work every month. You do not log into anything. You text or email what needs to change and we make the change. Month to month, cancel whenever, no contract to sign.

THE PART NOBODY BUDGETS FOR

A Website Is Equipment. Equipment Needs Upkeep.

This plan is for the home service owner whose site is already built and already working, and who does not want to think about it again. You maintain your trucks before the transmission goes. A website is the same kind of asset. Software versions age out, contact forms quietly stop delivering email, phone browsers change how they render a page, and none of that announces itself. The owner usually finds out when a customer mentions the form never went through.

Plumbers, HVAC companies, tree services, and pest control outfits do not have a person on staff who checks any of this. That is the whole reason the plan exists. Every ASJ Designs site is built to be hands-off, so maintenance is the piece that keeps it that way after launch.

WHAT THE PLAN DOES EVERY MONTH

Updates, Backups, Security, and a Real Person Who Answers.

Platform and Software Updates

The site's platform, integrations, and any embedded tools get updated on our schedule, not whenever something breaks. Updates run and get checked, so a version bump never quietly takes your homepage layout apart.

Daily Backups

A full copy of your site is stored daily. If something goes wrong, whether that's a bad edit or a hosting problem, the site gets restored from a recent backup instead of rebuilt from memory.

Security and Uptime Monitoring

Your site is watched for downtime and security problems around the clock. If it goes down at 4am, we find out from the monitor, not from you the next morning after you've missed calls.

One Hour of Changes a Month

New tech on the team, a price update, a seasonal promo, a photo swap, updated hours. Send it over and we make the change. The plan includes up to one hour of change work per month.

Broken Link and Form Checks

Contact forms and tap-to-call links get tested regularly. A form that stops delivering email is the most expensive thing that can silently break on a home service site, because the lead is gone and nobody knows it.

A Plain-English Note on What Was Done

You get a short note covering what was updated, what was checked, and anything worth flagging. No dashboard login, no jargon report you have to decode to find out whether you got anything for the $99.

NO TICKET QUEUE, NO PORTAL

Every Site We Build Is Already Run This Way

Maintenance at ASJ Designs is not a separate department you get handed off to. Arlen builds the sites and Arlen makes the changes, which is why a request comes back the same way you sent it, in plain language, usually within a business day. The live client sites listed on our Web Design page are all maintained under this exact plan right now, including the ones that have been live for years.

There is no support ticket system and no account manager between you and the person doing the work. That matters more than it sounds like it should when what you need is your new Saturday hours live before the weekend.

HOW A CHANGE REQUEST ACTUALLY GOES

Send It. We Confirm. It's Live.

Step 1

Send It

Text, call, or email whatever you need changed. There is no form to fill out, no ticket to open, and no character limit. A photo of a handwritten note works fine, and plenty of owners send exactly that.

Step 2

We Confirm

We confirm what you asked for and tell you straight if it's bigger than the included hour. You get the number before the work starts, never on an invoice afterward.

Step 3

It’s Live

The change goes live, usually within one business day for anything routine, and you get a note back saying it's done. Nothing goes on your site without you knowing about it first.

$99 A MONTH, ONE HOUR INCLUDED

$99 a Month. One Hour of Changes Included. $75 an Hour After That.

ASJ Designs website maintenance costs $99 per month. That covers platform updates, daily backups, security and uptime monitoring, broken link and form checks, and up to one hour of change work per calendar month. Change work beyond that hour is billed at $75 per hour, and unused hours do not carry over to the next month. Published maintenance plans commonly run $100 to $500 a month, so $99 sits at the bottom of that range with the included hour written down instead of left vague.

FOUR THINGS WORTH KNOWING

The hour is real, and it's honest. One hour covers the normal monthly ask at a home service business: a text swap, a new photo, a price change, updated hours. If what you want is a brand new service page or a section rebuild, that's a bigger job than an hour and it gets quoted properly at $75 an hour or at the $199 page rate, whichever actually fits. We tell you which one before we start.

On our Local SEO plan, maintenance is included. Sign up for Local SEO and host your site with us, and hosting, domain, and this maintenance plan are all covered by the monthly retainer. There's no separate maintenance bill on top of it.

If we host your site, hosting and domain are included. No $65 hosting bill in the spring and no $20 domain renewal in the fall. Both are covered for as long as the plan is active, which is $85 a year you would otherwise pay on top of a maintenance plan somewhere else. If your hosting or domain is registered somewhere else, we can still maintain the site, there's just nothing for us to absorb, and we'll tell you that plainly rather than implying a discount you aren't getting.

Want to make small edits yourself? Limited Self-Edit Access is a paid add-on, $500 one time plus $19.99 a month, covered on our Web Design page. Most owners skip it and just send the request, which is why the plan is built the way it is.

Your Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Website Maintenance Plans

Answers to what home service owners ask before putting a website on a monthly plan.

What makes your $99 plan different from the other website maintenance plans I'm comparing?

We only maintain sites we built ourselves, so nobody bills you for the hours it takes to learn how somebody else put your site together. The sites run on Elements rather than a stack of third-party plugins, which is what most maintenance hours actually get spent chasing. And the included hour is written down as an hour. Plans that advertise "unlimited" changes still have a limit, you just don't find out where it is until you've crossed it.

What happens if I need more than an hour of work in a month?

We tell you before we start, and the extra time bills at $75 an hour. The hour resets on the first of each month and unused time does not roll over. If the request is really a new page rather than an edit, it usually makes more sense at our $199 per page rate instead, and we will say so rather than quietly running the clock.

My website works fine right now. Why do I need a maintenance plan?

Because the failures that cost you money are the quiet ones. Contact forms stop delivering email, software versions fall behind, and phone browsers change how a page renders. None of that shows an error message. The owner usually finds out weeks later when a customer says they filled out the form and never heard back, and there is no way to recover those leads after the fact.

How fast do you make a change after I ask for one?

Routine changes are usually live within one business day. That covers the things home service businesses actually ask for: adding a new technician, listing a seasonal special, changing your hours, swapping a photo, updating a phone number. You are messaging Arlen directly, not opening a ticket that sits in a queue behind fifty other accounts.

What happens if my website goes down or gets hacked?

Uptime monitoring catches it and we start working on it, whether or not you have noticed. Because a full backup is stored daily, restoring the site means putting yesterday's working version back rather than rebuilding anything. Recovery work from an outage or a security problem is covered under the plan and does not eat into your included hour.
